Menopause

Menopause is usually preceded by irregular periods, which eventually stops completely.

During this phase, your consultant will conduct a gynaecological examination and tests to ensure your well-being.

What happens during your appointment?

At your initial consultation, your consultant will perform a thorough gynaecological examination accompanied by a smear test, pelvic ultrasound and a breast ultrasound. This is to help them identify gynaecological or breast abnormalities, if any.
